At this level, players continue to work on fundamentals, but there is a greater emphasis on improving their stroke technique, footwork and rallying skills. During this class, kids begin to see greater mechanics and consistency of play. We continue to focus on the ABC’s (agility, balance, coordination and speed) to improve your child’s athleticism

For newer tennis players just learning the technical mechanics, children focus on hand-eye coordination, contact point, groundstrokes, volleys. Strategies and tactics for singles and doubles are introduced.

This introduces kids to playing with a low bounce green ball which slows the game down to a speed that gives players time to play good basic tennis shots and enables them to have maximum fun playing the game!

Start/Restart beginner tennis achieves this by mixes traditional beginner tennis drills with modified equipment which ensures that participants will grow confident in their abilities by being able to rally and have more control of their game earlier on in their tennis experience.
